Power of One – RuPay

RuPay’s “Power of One” campaign advertises diversity as well as the power of unity in India. The advertisement depicts people from all walks of life, ethnicities, and background using RuPay Cards. The advertisement campaign has received an impressive response for its inclusive message and for portraying how an Indian company is going neck to neck with the global giants.

The campaign begins with a woman purchasing food using her RuPay card in a remote area in the country. On a deeper level, the advertisement portrays how India is growing not only in the urban but rural too.

The commercial then follows a montage of various people, including businessmen in a formal, a farmer in his field, and a student making purchases using the RuPay card. The advertisement also concludes on an emotional level with the word RuPay. The Strength of One.”

From the affluent to the poor, from the renowned to the marginalized, the campaign has depicted individuals from all ethnicities of life using RuPay cards, thus communicating the fact that RuPay is for everyone regardless of people’s background.

A delivery person on his bicycle, a farmer driving his tractor, a teen driving his scooter, and a businessman in his automobile.

The commercial opens with the narration, "Har ghar ka hero, har ghar ka rasta.". The commercial then goes to a montage of people from many walks of life on their way to work or school.

Kabhi Kisi Aur Ki Khushi Main Shamil Hoke Dekhiya – Cadbury
